If you’re signed into the site, you’ll see a form above to upload your favorite images to our galleries. Not a member, you say? Not a problem, just click the “register” link in the right-hand column.

Please try to keep your images under 300kb. If they’re pre-cropped to a max of 800px wide by 600px high, great. If not, no problem, I can do that at this end. You’ve probably seen a form like this before, so I won’t go into detail about how to use it. The only thing I ask is that you include your name and a description of your image, so it can be properly attributed.

Your image won’t appear right away. After you upload, it goes into a moderation queue for security and public decency reasons. After I’ve had a chance to check it out, I’ll copy it to the proper category and do any editing needed to keep things flowing. I’ll also leave a copy on the gallery front page for a while to let the world see your masterpiece.

If you have pictures that you’d like to share and don’t wish to register, no problem, we’ll just need to do things the old-fashioned way. Send them to me via email, or if they’re posted online somewhere, point me at them. If they’re hosted on Flickr, for example, I can do a direct bulk download. One way or other, we need your pictures and appreciate your sharing!

The fine print – uploading an image to the gallery gives Blue Moon Kites permission to use it elsewhere on the site, including product pages. If you’ve let us know who the image belongs to, proper credit will be attributed where possible. I’m not asking you to give up any copyrights! If you ever decide you don’t want your images posted on the BMK site, please let me know at ken@bluemoonkites.com and I’ll respect your wishes.
