Blue Moon's Kites

All of Blue Moon's kites are made in our studio in Lenoir, NC by artisan kitemaker Ken McNeill. No expense is spared in design, materials or construction time. They're designed to be state-of-the-art, multi-function tools for the discerning flyer.

Each kite is signed, dated and backed up with personal, ongoing support.

IchibanIchiban

That's right, it's back!!!

Since being introduced at Washington D.C.'s Smithsonian Kite Festival in 2000, our award winning Ichiban has been turning heads and raising smiles across the country.

61/4961/49

A light wind, controllable single line kite, the 61/49 makes those days with light and variable, frustrating winds fun!

MambaMamba

The flagship of the Blue Moon family gets an upgrade to SkyShark's Nitro frame! New also is a 3PT leading edge set for the Mamba UL. Both changes bring the already world-class Mamba to an even higher level.

mantisMantis

When you unroll the Mantis for it's first flight, you'll find an unprecedented level of adjustability to the standoffs and bridle. These allow you a chance to make the kite truly "yours", rather than settle for one-size-fits-all.

ExileExile

Want to indulge in a little old school freestyle flying? Itching to just go out to the field and see what might be possible? The Exile is a willing accomplice, executing a variety of styles without dictating how it likes to be flown.

MuseMuse

The Muse offers a high level of performance and value in a US made, artisan built kite.
